| Style | Named after one of the most iconic sections of coastline and Insta-inspiring gravel riding of the American West, the Marin Headlands embodies everything about this beautiful and rugged terrain. We took our do anything gravel disruptor and made it even better! For 2026 the full unidirectional carbon chassis has had some purposeful upgrades and improvements! The 1 x specific construction of the frame still means short chainstay which can now accommodate up to a whopping 700 x 50 tire. The dropouts have been updated to a UDH setup to future-proof compatibility and the downtube now has our proprietary Bear-Box in frame storage to further increase carrying capacity for adventures. The short chainstay, longer top tube and shorter stems that you've all come to love about the Headlands, remains a fundamental piece of this gravel ripping puzzle meaning its stable and comfortable on the flat but allows increased confidence when the trail gets technical. Internal cable routing and lots of mounts on the frame allows you to fit the bike with anything from water and tubes, to a full custom frame bag from your favorite maker using the attachments found around the front triangle, while conventional rack and fender mounts can transition the bike into a capable winter commuter. The Marin Bikes Headlands 2 takes things up a notch with a solidly performing spec list. The full carbon frame and fork is kitted out with a full Shimano GRX groupset conisting of hydraulic disc brakes and their gravel specific 12 speed drivetrain. There's a TransX dropper post to make the downhills more confidence inspiring, fast rolling QuikStyk tires from Vee Tire Co mounted to Marin wheels and our own brand finishing kit, all of which add up to a whole mountain of fun and adventure.
