| Style | Lightweight aluminium performance hybrid with full carbon tapered fork Shimano Tiagra 2 x 10 drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes.Merida use triple butted 6066 series aluminium which is hydroformed to tune the frame for a comfortable responsive ride. The addition of a full carbon fork with a tapered steerer delivers precise steering and a smooth ride. The upright position flat bars and powerful hydraulic disc brakes are ideal for commuting providing greater control and an enhanced field of vision when riding through traffic. For versatility the frame can accommodate wider tyres up to 35mm or 32mm with mudguards. Road.cc called it an 'excellent fast flat-bar road bike with awesome performance' and certified it to be a 'lovely bike - great fun versatile practical'. |
